Optical Microscope

Nikon, Eclipse ME600
PiQuET Laboratory
The Nikon Eclipse ME600 is an optical microscope equipped with five objectives (5X, 10X, 20X, 50X, and 100X) and both reflected (epi) and transmitted (dia) illumination systems. It supports differential interference contrast (DIC) imaging, which enhances contrast by highlighting differences in sample transparency, and dark field (DF) imaging (except with the 10X objective). These imaging modes reveal fine details of optically transparent samples that are not visible with standard microscopy techniques. Additionally, the microscope is equipped with a high-performance 6.3 Megapixel color CMOS camera, ideal for capturing high-quality images and videos, as well as performing line, surface, and angle measurements.
