This printer can work with metals and ceramic materials, based on the working principle of DLP printers (digital light processing). This principle is coupled with a deposition system that allows to deposit a very thin layer at each step, using few material, patented by the company. It relies on a pump for the material extrusion on a continuous roll that wraps a foil, that meets a blade, that spreads the desired layer thickness, and a wiper, that collects the non photopolymerized resin at the end of the foil, to reintroduce the resin in the system. This technology allows to fabricate micrometric parts with low resin volume (10ml), reducing material consumption and costs, and an accuracy smaller than a pixel dimension.
Printer dimension 980mm x 670mm x 1880mm - Printer weight 300kg - Printing volume 102mm x 64mm x 400mm - Maximum resin volume 1200ml - Lateral resolution 40µm - Layer thickness 10-200µm - Printing speed up to 300layer/h or 60mm/h - Wall thickness 0,1-10mm
We firmly believe that one of the Group’s strengths lies in the transdisciplinary approach that stems from active collaboration between experts from different fields, crucial for achieving results in both research and technological transfer.
