In addition to the clinical examination, it is necessary to have disease markers in blood, saliva and liquor - liquid biopsy. The development of lab-on-chips and biosensors represents a promising option in this field. This will represent a turning point for all neurodegenerative diseases, even when the COVID-19 emergency ends.
