Real-time detection of cardiac troponin (cTnI) and C-reactive protein (CRP) for acute myocardial infarction (AMI) diagnose, starting from a sub-milliliter volume of human blood through a lab-on-chip (LOC) platform to separate blood cells and plasma and highly-sensitive biosensors, based on Organic Electrochemical Transistors (OECTs) gated by electrodes properly functionalized with antibodies and aptamers as recognition molecules.
